Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 6 Browse

 

Follow the steps below:   

 

1. Select “Tools” from the top menu.
2. Choose “Internet Options”.

3. Click on the “Security” tab.
4. Click on “Custom Level”.

5. Scroll down until you see section labeled “Scripting”.
6. Under “Active Scripting”, select “Enable”.
7. Click “OK” to save changes.

8 .Close and restart Internet Explorer.

 

Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 7 Browser

 

Follow the steps below:

1. Open the “Tools” menu.
2. Select “Internet Options”, to open the Internet Options dialog box.
3. Click the “Security” tab.
4. Click the “Internet” symbol (a globe).
5. Click the “Custom Level…” button, to open the Security Settings dialog box.
6. In the “Settings” list, scroll down to “Scripting”.
7. Under “Active Scripting”, click the radio button to the left of “Enable”, so that a coloured dot appears in it. (Click “Disable” if you want to disable JavaScript.)

8. Click “OK” to close the Security Settings dialog box.
9. Click “Yes” in the Warning! message box.
10. Click “OK” to close the Internet Options dialog box.

 

Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 8 Browser

 

1. Open internet explorer and click on “Tools” menu and go down to “Internet Options”.

2. From the “Tools” menu, select “Options”.

4. Click the “Enable Javascript” checkbox. Click “OK”.

5. Close and Re-open Firefox.

 

Enable Javascript on Mozilla Firefox (1.5) browser on Macintosh

 

1. From the “Firefox” menu select “Preferences”.
2. Click on the “Content” icon.
3. Check the checkbox to “Enable JavaScript”.

Enable JavaScript in Mozilla Firefox (2.0) browser on Windows based PC

 

Follow the steps below:
1. Start Firefox.
2. Select “Tools” from the top menu.

3. Choose “Options”.

5. Select the checkbox next to “Enable JavaScript” and click “OK”.

Enable JavaScript in Mozilla Firefox (3.0.7) Browser

 

Follow the steps below:
1. Start Firefox.
2. From the “Tools” menu, select “Options”.

4. Select the checkbox next to “Enable JavaScript” and click “OK”.

5. Restart the Browser.

 

Enable JavaScript in Safari browser on Macintosh

 

1. Open Safari and click on the Safari menu and go down to “preferences”.

Note: Safari On windows , only difference is – “ you have to click on (Edit > preferences)”

2. Click on the “Security”.

3. Make sure the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox is ticked and the “Accept Cookies – Always” option is selected.

Note: If these options are already set correctly continue onto the next step.

4. Now that you have completed these steps click the “Close” button at the top of the window.

5. You should now close Safari and then restart your Mac.

 

Enable JavaScript in Opera 7.x Browser

 

First way…

1. Open Opera and click on the “Tools menu” and go down to “Quick preferences”.

2. From the drop down box click the checkbox- “Enable Javascript”.

Second Advanced way…

 

1. Open Opera and click on the “Tools menu”.

2. Go down to “ preferences”.

3. In the left menu select “Multimedia”.

4. Check the checkbox next to “Enable Javascript”.

5. Click the “Javascript Options..” button.

6. Check the Boxes that you want to allow.

 

7. Click “Ok”.

 

Enable JavaScript in Opera 8.x Browser

 

First way…

1. Open Opera and click on the “Tools menu” and go down to “Quick preferences”.

2. From the drop down box click the checkbox- “Enable Javascript”.

Note:You can check/ uncheck the above options to enable or disable the javascript if Opera displays any error corresponding to above options.
